こよみ Koyomi

Yesterday was 処暑 Syosyo. One of the 二十四節気 24 sekki.
処暑 means "hot weather ends, getting cooler in the morning and night".
According to 二十四節気 it's been Fall since Aug 8th.
I can feel it's much cooler in the morning and night lately though it's still way too hot during the day.

Daily Life

In July, I thought I will have lots of time to think about what to do after this summer.
I sure do have lots of time. But I'm becoming lazier and lazier. I still get up around 7:30 everyday. Having regimental life... er leading a well‐regulated life. (in lazy way) Now I rarely feel like going out though. Part because of this weather and mostly because I am lazy. (I'm lazy by nature and now I am lazier.) Couple projects I had before summer are... hiting a snag. Well, I've been procrastinating that is... I bumped into some of my ex co-workers last week. Most of them are still not working. They told me they are getting sick of staying home all day. No, not me. I love staying home.
August is going rather quickly. Soon I probably only think about my trip to Toronto...

And we ate 匠十段 (Takumi Judan)





I was pretty good. I wanna try avocado one next time.
It's been HOT here. It was 36.5 high today and yesterday was 37.8...

It was bit windy today, so I could hear those ear of rices rustle.

First Weekend

First weekend since I became unemployed.
I already feel like I've never had a job. Did I tell you I'm very good at being unemployed?
Friends already started to complain how they can't stand staying home all day long.
I don't see there's any problem... staying home all day.
Though I have to admit that I've been out more than few days this past week.
This week, I only planned to go to my French lesson on Tue. Oh and I have to do some errands tomorrow as well.
Yasuko-san and I've been talking about going out and have Mos Burger. And eat their 匠 (takumi) burger. Maybe next week.
Also next week, I have to go to the employment office. That place is depressing.
I will start to study this week...

I'm planning to go to Toronto and Vancouver in Oct/Nov. It's great that I have something to look for. :)

Sunflower

Ants!


I've gotten so many bites. And I think they are from ants.

And they come from those flowers which my mom cut and put in a vase.

Yesterday I went out for dinner with my "old" co-workers.



We were like "so... it's over... eh?" "we don't need to go to work tomorrow..."




It was a fun night.
