Last Day

Last post in 2005.

Spent sometime with Kumi-chan the cat. She's a stray. Hanging out around outsied of my work. She's typical cat. When I'm busy she follows me around. When I call her and pet her, she just ignores me. Today she was in a good spirit I guess. We hung out for a while in my lunch break.

Oh, my lunch...

年越しうどん(Toshikoshi Udon)
Costed me ONLY 110 yen. (with coupon though)

Thank you very much for all the readers/visiters here.
Have a great safe New Year!!!
I'll see you in 2006.

1 More Day

It's already Dec 30.
2005 has only 1 more day left.

Listen music more.
Watch movies more.
Care about people who cares about me more.
Smile more.
Write more.
Don't stressed out about something I can't change.

Those are my resolution this year.
I think I will carry on ALL OF THEM to next year.
This year, I started to go to gym, do yoga. Those two are pretty big change for me.

I think this year wasn't too bad. Bit quiet, but good.

Tomorrow I will be working till 7pm. Day after tomorrow till 8pm. oh well...

House Cleaning

I finally did clean my room. It wasn't dirty. It was just messy... I usually leave my stuff in my suitcase after I came back from my trip. At least for few months. (yeah I know... haha) But this time I had to let my dad to take my suitcase right after I came back. So I put everything on my couch. I also left everything I bought in my walk in closet... still same way that I brought back from the stores. I had to clean that few days ago. I found quite few pair of pants with price tags in drawers too. Mostly summer clothes. (I might just forget them again by the summer... haha) And today I did clean things on my couch and my desk.
What I found today?
$650.
$500 I just forgot to put in my bank account. I did remember them. But I found $50 worth coin and $100 gift certificate. Pretty happy about them.
I also found some letters. Some of them were love letters... from my exs. I opened it and read few sentences and put it back to the envelop. And still happy, cuz I just know that I've been loved. (at least the moments when they wrote the letters.)

So

Christmas is gone.
6 more days till the new year.

I don't feel anything holiday like since I go to work everyday. Well, not everyday though I only have normal day offs. Not that I really care. Yesterday I was telling my friend that I've been working there just over 2 years and I've already had FOUR vacation. Each about 1 week to 10 days. That's more than average here in Japan I guess eh? 7 more months I will stay there. I probably have one more vacation sometime in Spring. well I know I can take more than 10 days off, I just hope I can afford the trip! I would love to see some of newcomers to this world in TO.

Seasons Greetings

Merry Christmas folks!
Hope you are having nice and safe holidays.
Lots of love and hugs.

Somebody didn't show up at work today. We were kinda worried about him. Though no call or anything. Tomorrow will be less people at work and it would be tough if he didn't show up again... hope everything alright with him but I still say "ugh" when I think if he doesn't show up tomorrow. I know it's kinda bad...

Since I'm working through Christmas to New Years. I don't really feel like it's holiday season...
7 more months then I will just hang out do nothing. (well, at least for a while...)

Present

To me from me.

Love them.
I haven't bought many CDs this year though this is the best so far. (well, I still have 8 more days till next year.)
Last night, I came up with an idea for new years resolution. Still thinking other stuff.

Baby Boom... continues

I heard a great news from my sis/great friend M. She's expecting to expand her family. Things she told me brought back lots of memories about her mom. I sure remember what mom used to say to M and even to me...
I was thinking that I wouldn't go back to TO till I actually move to Canada next Fall/Winter. But I'd love to see her before she gives birth. (oh and NxNE is June... oh nice...)
And I forgot to mention last time, C is going to be a Dad in early Feb too!

Oh speaking of Dad, I got the card Dad! Thank you!

Smile

I got Christmas card from my dearest Z today. Like when I got it from Kayoko last week, it made me smile/happy.

Went to look for new pair of glasses today. (again, yeah) Well, I found 2 pairs I kinda like last time I was there. But...I didn't like them both today. Sure I like to shop, but usually I'm pretty quick to decide what/which to buy. Now I kinda like the purple pair from Hugo Boss... but I already have a purple pair... look very different though. I probably should wait for a while... maybe till next year. Yeah, time flys really. Only 11 more days left. I will be working Christmas eve, Christmas day, New years eve then New years day. I might wear Kimono on 2nd or 3rd of Jan... if I remember. Will think about new years resolutions tomorrow at work.

Not That

I'm in a bad mood though...
I don't think anybody cares about me this weekend.
And thinking that if I really cared about those people I say I care about.
You can't think of one person 24/7. Well if you are in love maybe.
So I understand it could happen there's nobody who cares about me this weekend.
People's feelings are funny.

Baby Boom

My cousin will have a baby on Dec 23. Apparently her doctor thinks she probably would have some difficulty having baby naturally, so she's gonna have a Caesarean.
And my friend C and W will have their first baby sometime soon too.
Hope everything goes well with them.
I can't wait to see those babies.

Hiroshima

It was like Kawabata's book.
"国境の長いトンネルを抜けると雪国であった" (When the train came out of a long tunnel, it was a snowy country.)
I took a bus to Hiroshima this morning. Coldest day so far this winter. (actually at the bus stop, there's some cancelation going bunch of different direction.)
After the tunnel, I saw the sign "Hiroshima" and white mountains. Snow.
Downtown wasn't snowy when I got there though.

Megumi and I met up at the bus stop and first thing first. We went to look for a Okonomiyaki place for lunch.

We went for a place called "みっちゃん" (Mittchan) It was very good.
Then we just walked around.

We had a fun in the castle.

They let peopel wear those stuff. And nobody was around. So we tried everything on. Somehow I started laughing hard and we just kept laughing. Then some people came by, they just pretend like they didn't see any crazy women laughing and walked away very quickly.

It was great to see Megumi again. We will plan to go somewhere together again soon... well, in two years max.

Going to

Hiroshima next week. Just a day trip.
I will meet up with my friend M there. We haven't seen each other more than 2 years.
So I am looking forward to see her. We have lots to catch up.
Also I should check where we should go!
Anyone has any idea?

Good day

I got this at work. Christmas present for everybody. Box of candies.
I also got a post card from my friend G. He's a good friend of mine. He and his partner are great people and they always care about me. Sometime I think that I must have done something great so I can have such great friends.

Bedrock bath?

I went back to take French lessons. It wasn't too bad. I remembered more than either of us expected. I'm more surprised than my teacher Keiko-san though. (Have a safe trip to France Keiko-san!)
In the afternoon, I went to 岩盤浴. (ganban-yoku... Bedrock bath???) It's like steam bath. You lay yourself on a bedrock which is warm about 40 degrees. You suppose to sweat a lot. It has
detoxification. I should keep going there regulary.

Before and after pic. Well, since both my mom and I did sweat a lot, the camera got fogged.

Cold Day

First day I turned on my heater this winter.
Jud told me it's COLD in Thunder Bay. I bet it's freezing cold. Well that means he's still touring with boys. I've been friends with him for over 8 years. And we never met yet. Past 8 years we chatted, talked on the phone but never made it to actually meet up. But he's been pretty much there when I need him. And I hope it's been same for him about me. Hopefully we can meet before our 10th anniversary, right Jud? hehe
I have so many great guy friends. Seriously I have lots of great guy friends. They really are great. But non of them are mine. They are my friends, but not mine. Do you understand that?
My question is "where is a great guy for me?"

Anyways, Tuesday, another dinner with my friends.
We gonna have "nabe" (hot-pot which cooked at the table) I will take some pics.

Fun and Quiet

Got back from Osaka. :)
Wednesday Nov 30, I saw three friends. One for lunch, one for dinner and one for coffee.
All cute guys. I had a great time with all of them.
I also did quick shopping between the three appointments.

I'm very happy with the blue bag. The colour cheer me up.

And this morning, I got up early and left the hotel early to go to Kyoto.

More pics at my MSN space.

On the way back home, I was emailing back and forth with JM. (Seems like I have so many J for my friends) Seems like he didn't wanna ask me any favour when he emailed me few days ago. He was unusually sweet today. That made me happier. Small things make me happy.
